Dr. Richard I. Stone

Dr. Stone has been practicing for 26 years. He is presently the Chief Section of Gastroenterology at Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center™. He completed his undergraduate studies at University of Vermont™ in 1972 and received his M.D. in 1976 from the University of Guadalajara™.

Dr. Stone did his medical residency at Mount Sinai Hospital™ and his GI fellowship at the University of Connecticut Health Center™. He is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Steven A. Goldenberg

Dr. Steven A. Goldenberg joined Dr. Stone in 1986, after completing his undergraduate studies at Hamilton College™ in 1977. Dr. Goldenberg attended SUNY™ and received his M.D. in 1981. He completed his internship and medical residency at Overlook Hospital™.

Dr. Goldenberg did his GI fellowship at the University of Connecticut Health Center™. Dr. Goldenberg is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.

Dr. Murali Dharan

Dr. Dharan graduated from Stanley Medical College, Madras, India in 1995, and Royal College of Physician of United Kingdom in 2000. He completed his medical residency in 2003 and gastroenterology fellowship 2006 at Yale University, Bridgeport Hospital and elected to do an advanced endoscopy fellowship at Yale University, New Haven.

Dr. Dharan specialized in endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and is board certified in Internal medicine and gastroenterology. He is on active medical staff at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
